The (not too easy) unBoxing of the New B&N Nook eReader
Posted on December 9, 2009
I am very happy to report that I received the new Nook eReader today as promised by the B&N customer support (see my last post). It was ten days later than anticipated but now I can finally start to play with it.
Just a small disclaimer: I swear to you that I really did eat my Wheaties this morning but opening up the nook packaging was a real PITA. Really!
Stay tuned as I will be posting up more news and reviews and comparisons of the Nook and Kindle eReaders!

I can’t wait to see your impressions of the Nook vs. the Kindle. I’ve been wanting an ereader since the Kindle 1 came out – I’m ready to buy now and not sure if I should wait for the Nook or buy the Kindle 2.
I REALLY want the Sony PRS-900, but who knows when that will be out and $400 is way more than I can justify spending on this kind of item…

Eric – First thoughts of the Nook for me are looking favorable. It really depends on the features you need. Kindle does have features none of the others have. But I am sure B&N will be pushing new features to the Nook too. I just read Sony won’t have their Daily Edition out till after Christmas. ~ Dave
