A Call to Action…uhmm…I mean to Barnes and Noble

Barnes & Noble Nook eBook ReaderI was looking over my "To-Do" list today and a call to Barnes and Noble customer support was high on my list.

The problem is that I ordered their new Nook eReader the day after they started accepting pre-release orders and had a ship date of November 30th. In fact it still shows that date but I still haven't received my nook. This is not a good way to kick off the release of their flagship product especially when kindle 2 orders are at an all-time high.

So I finally made the call to customer support. It took about 3 minutes to finally talk to a real person (which I didn't think was too bad). After I gave the nice gentleman my order details, he assured me that my nook will be in my hands by this Wednesday, December 9th. I was happy to hear this but I still have some doubts.

Has anyone else received their nook or confirmation of shipping yet?
