Amazon has just released another new firmware update for the 2nd generation Kindle. Although this is a minor update when compared to 2.3, Amazon continues to make improvements. This release will be pushed out wirelessly to all customers but it can take up to several weeks to get and if you don't have your wireless on, you will never get it.

It is very easy to check your firmware version and updating the firmware software manually only takes a few minutes. You will need access the Amazon Kindle Software page to download the latest version.
