Review your Kindle Book Highlights and Notes Online
Yesterday, Amazon released a new Website Portal for Kindle owners that enhances the capabilities of their Kindle eBook readers. The key feature is the ability to see your kindle book highlights and notes online. The site does an excellent job of managing your books and displaying your highlights and notes. See screen capture below:
I am sure this feature was strongly influenced by the upcoming Kindle DX reader where students will need the ability to quickly view, print or copy and paste their book notes. There is no cost to using this service which is a nice benefit.
I do find it strange that Amazon has chosen to use a different website URL for this feature instead of accessing it through the "Manage my Kindle" page. Personally, I think this adds some confusion for users but hopefully they will integrate the two pages soon.
I am pleased that Amazon continues to put a strong emphasis on their Kindle products and services. I also look forward to seeing more enhancements to these services in the near future (especially the free ones).

The only problem is that online notes and highlights apparently does not work for the DX. Strange, because it worked fine with my Kindle 2. It’s possible I am the only person this is not working for and would love to hear some confirmation from other users. I called amazon and they were not very helpful but also said it does not work for the DX.

Hi Brett,
That is strange. Unfortunately, I do not own a DX to try this out. Have you tried posting the problem on the Amazon Kindle Board?
